Hello Dambusters,
With the great success of the last ever Dambusters Draw held by Debbs, in which many people received some fantabulous prizes, I have decided to carry on the tradition of running The new and improved Dambusters Draw!
The rules will remain mostly the same with one slight exception! The current rules are as follows:
This is a draw for Dambusters and Dambusters only.
To enter you need to send 100 gold to our draw Alt aptly named JIBBSDRAW.
The character that sends the gold will be the character that will be entered into the draw.
One entry per character, but alts are welcome to enter as long as they are level 15 or above.
To make things easier you can send, for example, 500g from your main char and include a list of 5 chars that you have in the guild, rather than sending 100g from each alt!
The difference in this new and improved Draw is that every week there will be a chance for one player to win a bonus prize. The way that this works is each week the chance of the bonus prize becoming ‘available’ for someone to win increases. To give you an idea how it works, in the first Draw there is a 25% chance that the bonus prize can be won. This will be decided by a separate /roll where if the roll is 1-25 then the bonus becomes ‘active’. If the roll is 26-100 then the bonus prize rolls over to the next Draw. In each of the subsequent Draws the chance to ‘enable’ the bonus increases. So Draw 2 there will be a 50% chance, Draw 3 a 75% chance and finally, if the bonus prize has not been ‘enabled’ in the first 3 Draws then there is a 100% chance that it becomes available for players to win.
The entry list will be posted on the website so everyone will be able to see their allocated entry numbers
(You do not have a choice of number they will be allocated sequentially)All the gold from the entries will be used for the prize money, it will be a 70/30 split for 1st and 2nd place. Unless we have collected over 2000g, then a third prize will be added splitting the pot into 50/30/20 for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.
Collection for the draw will start at the beginning of the month and the closing date will be the last Tuesday of the month, this will give us time to finalise the entry list, prize money and post it up before the draw takes place on the last Wednesday of the month.
When the draw is about to take place, an announcement will be made in guild chat. I will then log in Debbsdraw and two separate /roll will take place.
First /roll will be for 1st place
Second /roll will be for 2nd place
and if required a Third /roll will be for 3rd placeAs stated above, a separate roll will take place to see if the Bonus Prize is available during the Draw!
All are welcome to come and witness the /roll(s)
The Rolls will take place inside the War-room in Stormwind Keep, and screenshot will be taken and posted on our website.
The winnings will then be deposited into the mailboxes of the winners.
