The key in RBGs is adjusting on the fly balanced against focusing on the victory conditions. This is never easy and forces players to constantly change the script based on the current conditions. This of course is also the whole reason I prefer PvP… as skill and thought are required to deal with unpredictable situations.

May the best man win might be a tad sexist but the sentiment is dead on in PvP imho.

Now I was really happy with our initially outing and am hopeful we can just keep improving. We know the gear can be dramatically improved by many. we have a few players looking at adjusting their class to help optimize our team. We also know that simply familiarity will help improve our results as we work with each other and learn not just the scenarios but out teammates a bit better.

Now then with that all said it is also ideal to start with a basic plan and make the adjustments as needs. So with that here are some thoughts I have on various RBGs. Please feel free to share your thoughts and hopefully we help all understand the scenario better as we refine and improve our initial plan.

Arathi Basin- In thinking about this scenario I like the LM because of the view it gives. that said it seems this is the most heavily contested node. As such I am beginning to relook this strat. Might send one healer and two knockbacks to LM and just delay… rogue to GM…. heavy melee and 2 healers to BS (4 total)… and last two between LM and BS to go where needed. first deasd comes back to stables until we get map stabilized and we can have a hunter sit.

Eye of the Storm- Basically one char left… one char right… rest in the middle. You need tons of AoE and knockbacks at the flag. If you with this initial battle, the game is basically yours as you should just turtle with your two bases and hold the flag the entire time. Boring but best chance to win.

Battle of Gilineas- Simple one druid or hunter cap flag, rest to WW. You need to win this battle. Then leave two are each flag (have stealth and aoe both covered) with the rest camped in mid and ready to go and aid.

Deepwind Gorge- Best 3v3 top… one stealth bottom… rest mid. Hold 2 flags and kill EFC.

Silvershard Mines- Best bet here is to zerg carts before they flip. Defending near mid just waste resources and time. so to start send stealth top and rest zerg lava. As sson as lava is capped zeg mid. When tghat is capped zerg to mine. If this works you are up 3-0 and can now zerg carts in best position from a position of strength.

Temple- Start by grabbing two orbs, regrouping and pushing a side for a 3rd orb. Tough map to lead as constant adjustments need to be made. Best too keep range on edges at all times to regrab orbs. Healers should one/orb, one/orb, one/party/other orb. Keep orbs back and they play defnsive as holding orbs are the victory conditions. in contrast when you are bruning down and enemy orb the next orb carrier should be at the spawn point prepared.

WG/TP- One Rouge defend flag rest zerg mid and wipe opposition. The FC can peel during the fight if all going well but FC must stay alive. Once the mid is wiped your group and split part hunting efc and other supporting FC now that you control the map. Druid is ideal fc.

Many ideas can be compared to these excellent posts…
