When i came back to wow i distinctly remember saying to our guild leader that i was not at all interested in raiding. This was due to earlier experiences in end game / competitive progression.
One day i was asked to make up numbers as “ret” in msv. Never even attempting this before the whole experience was comical for everyone involved. The light hearted and friendly approach to the whole raiding experience made me rethink my initial decision.
Over the following months i was occasionally involved in raiding and every time seemed to gain a greater appreciation for our guilds raiding community.
I am now proud to say that i believe the current raid ream comprises of highly experienced (excluding myself), friendly and helpful individuals that even though we are not “up there with the best”, have some of the best attitudes to gaming i have ever come across.
