Our guild might not have the greatest raiding team around. We might accept new players warmly into our community just as we accept experienced campaigners who fancy joining us. We often see questions in the guild chat about things the pro players would find silly. We might struggle to keep the more hardcore minded guys from leaving to join a more dedicated, specialised pvp or raiding guild.
There’s something we do have tho, something a lot of the more serious guilds miss. We have the same ideology, the same foundations and the same spirit we always had. We have the structure here to be great and we do things the right way!
The Dambusters ain’t looking for a quick fix, we don’t want the egos of the raiding scene on our doorstep. What we want are good people who share our values to join us, and the legends who are already here to remain. The guild’s policies will ensure that our rise will be slow and steady to ensure any success we forge together will be a stepping stone to more success.
People see our raiding credentials and notice that our guild is one of the lowest raid teams on the server, but we just lost our 2 main tanks and did that break the guild up? No chance!
We have swapped and changed so many healers it’s unreal but we are still here, ready to progress Horridon again with new tanks, healers and the usual (improving all the time) DPS squad! We will be there no matter what because we care about this guild and want to do well in the name of the Dambusters!
All it will take is for just a couple of quality players with a similar type of mentality as ours to notice us and get involved and our little raid team will fly!
Some raid teams are formed so fast and blow up content so quickly then implode amongst a mega drama bomb leaving players feeling depressed about the game and people in general. Some great guilds just got lucky and managed to recruit the perfect people to get content down nicely. The Dambusters have some excellent folks who just need a tiny bit more luck and because of our rock solid foundations and steadfast leadership, the guild will never collapse.
Let people judge us on our raid progress coz they miss the point. We don’t want people who think the only gauge of a good guild is progress but we need people who have the vision to spot potential. That is where we are, potentially a great guild who already have a fantastic community.
Slow and steady guild operations will keep us rising in the right direction. Are you with me?

We need more skankas to troll wind bombs 🙂
I recall a certain lil gnome rogue wiping a Dambusters team with a wind bomb more recently 🙂
