Sitting Out and Raid Sinners

As we recruit, raid team slots will be filled. At the moment, the guild raid team members can usually breeze in and take their spot as long as they just turn up on time and accept the invite. We are continuing the recruitment drive looking specifically for healers and tanks but DPS beware…new DPS guys are welcome to join and try to push for a raid spot like everybody else.

Our problem has been having no choice but to accept bringing people who underperform or who let us down and this gives our raid leader Spyrot a real headache because we have been failing. Some folks even sign up on the calendar and fail to show. This is the worst offence a raider could ever commit and it’s just not on!

There have been mistakes from the leadership regarding the setting up of the raids but even more so by the people who just don’t bother their arses to turn up regularly or properly learn to play their class, get out of bad shit during an encounter etc and all this is gonna have to stop! Whether it’s up on the calendar or not, you know the raid times.

Tonight poor Spyrot had to call the raid leaving me with nothing to do on a Thursday night. I’m bloody raging! If people think they have a spot for Sunday or next week, guess again. There were the usual few who were around, waiting to raid but the layabouts let these committed guys down and I’m not happy about it. What’s to stop these guys leaving the guild to pursue a more committed raiding schedule? We have really got to get a grip.

Learn something about your class, watch the videos, get the addon ‘GTFO’ and damn well SHOW UP!!!

We have a team of people on the blizzard forums and in /tradechat hunting raiders to recruit. If you wanna be in there then take a moment to think about the other 9 team mates you let down when you don’t bother your arse to arrive in good time and well prepared.

The rest of the guild, keep up the fantastic work and show these ‘raiders’ how commitment looks!

I sense some butt-kicking on the horizon!
