Mumble Server Information

All Dambusters are advised to go to this website and download the very simple Mumble program.  The server is already financed by your guild management and we would really appreciate you using this service as often as possible.  Your community are waiting to get to know you a little better and will welcome you warmly.

Once installed, inside the Mumble program you simply need to:

1.   ‘Add New’ to create a new server location

2.   LABEL – Dambusters

3.   ADDRESS – dambusters.aremumbling.com

4.   PORT – 36044

5.   USERNAME – <add your desired nickname here>

Recommended Website Knowledgebase

1.   Google.com   –   LMGTFY is THE most powerful tool in the world today, full of information right at the click of a button.  Any question or problem you have regarding absolutely any subject (especially World of Warcraft) can be answered using this amazing tool if you just ask the question.  If you encounter anything you dont understand in the game, simply tab out to your web browser and ask google the question.

2.   WoW Insider   –   Up to date World of Warcraft information and thoughtful regular columns written by very professional and devoted fans of the game.  Included is a specific mention of our very own Dambusters guild on this post by Lisa Poisso.

3.   MMO Champion   –   Information and datamining website for the most relevant details regarding the game.

4.   Icy-Veins   –   The current ‘go-to’ place for class specific information, boss encounter strategies and videos among tonnes of other important end game stuff.

5.   Ask Mr. Robot   –   This gear optimizer package will solve your hit cap needs!  Mr. Robot is the place to be for min-maxing your characters’ itemisation.  Reforging, enchanting and gemming are all covered for your own specific character in it’s currently equipped gear.

6.   Curse Client   –   The place to be for addons/mods for your World of Warcraft user interface.  Addons are powerful tools to assist your gameplay by modifying the way information is displayed within your game.  These mods are fully endorsed by Blizzard as ways to hone and customise your game setup to best suit your own needs and maximise your output by taking care of the more mundane aspects of the user interface so you may put all your efforts into just playing the game.

7.   Wowhead   –   The perfect database for all items, quests, classes, guides and all manner of other important daily use information in the game today.  If you use google to ask about stuff in game, chances are the best answer will point to the Wowhead site.
