Guild Leader Bigticket/Jaggybushes is your guild leader, I’ve learned the game almost entirely as a guild leader and it’s all I know how to be since I started playing only a few months before the guild was formed on 26th July 2009. I play on multiple other characters who all have the rank of 2nd in command ‘Warrant Officer’:- Bigpyjamas, Bunnyboiler, Caledonia, Jaggeh, etc. can usually be found around the place since I’m an unconscionable altoholic!
Warrant Officer ‘Assistant Guild Leader’ – The nature of this position allows only the very few proven committed officers to assume overall leadership while Bigticket is offline. Only by relentless dedication in the ‘Flight Sergeant’ rank to learn the inner workings of the guild and a burning desire to do all you can to promote the guild will result in your rise to Warrant Officer. Close contact with Roar is the only way to this position and any adjustment a Warrant Officer contributes to the guild while standing in my stead remains my sole responsibility since I fully endorse their position. Your utmost respect is expected towards this rank as their commitment to the guild is considered infinite as they act in Bigticket’s name.
Flight Sergeant ‘Officer’ which now includes the ability to /gkick and demote (specifically to ‘On Jankers’ for muting unruly characters as long as they are lower ranked than Flight Sergeant itself) and I MUST receive some form of communication detailing the reasons for such action or the demoting officer might end up subject to criticism. A Flight Sergeant will have a specific task to carry out within the guild and the moment that job stops being done for whatever reason, the stability of their rank will begin to crumble as many past Flight Sergeants have noticed. You have the ability to become one of the guild’s legends here so grasp the chance to become an officer with both hands!
Chief Technician ‘Junior Officer’ is the starting point for potential Officers of the future, however promotion beyond this rank is not inevitable. People should view this as recognition of leadership attributes being noticed by the Guild Leader and a period of experimentation is underway where you will be tested for potential to step up. There may be various reasons why you will either remain in this role, gain further promotion or be repositioned back among the general membership.
The rank of ‘Chief Tech’ was previously reserved for regular raid team members to facilitate improved guild repairs and access to the ‘Gibson’ guild bank tab for raiding consumables. Rather, this rank is now to be viewed as a sort of ‘Captain’ type role. Close contact with the Guild Leader will ensure one does not fail while in this rank.
Sergeant You are clearly a committed guild member who deserves recognition for your dedication to the Dambusters! Sergeants enjoy good benefits of the rank with a fair amount of guild repair gold available per day including a lot of access to the guild bank tabs with exception of the raiding tab(Gibson) and deposit tab (Grand Slam) of course. This rank will remain the ceiling for most characters in the guild because the next step up is a full officer position for which we have limited spots in the guild. Your advancement requires serious consideration as well as there being a job for you to do as an officer so if you feel there is something you are doing that is needed by the guild, let me know. In addition, if you feel there is a job that needs done round the guild then you are free to offer yourself as a volunteer.
Corporal You have proven to be worthy of a continued role in the guild. You have impressed members of your guild enough to have been chosen to access the guild bank and be recognised as a regular Dambuster, well done!

SPECIAL RANKS
Officer Alt Officers will be able to carry out most of the day-to-day tasks on all their characters with the inclusion of this rank to our guild structure. I can’t believe it has taken this amount of time for me to implement this role into the guild. This will easily be the biggest quality of life change for our already hard-working officer team as it will allow them to help with the guild bank, invite alts and be a focal point for any Dambusters online who are looking for general guidance. It will be easy to identify an officer with this rank tag on the guild roster.
Dambuster Alt This rank takes a very special place in the roster and should never be looked down upon. This could be anyone from Warrant Officer to Corporal simply using their alt. Due to the high number of alt toons in this guild and the unique way I structure the guild bank for fairness of access throughout the entire guild roster, this rank remains very important to the guild. It allows me to see how many actual people we have in the guild, lets people use the bank fairly and simplifies the rank system greatly. Your ‘guild main’ may change as you wish, please contact me or a Warrant Officer if you require an adjustment and we will happily oblige. It is IMPERATIVE to the guild that you declare your alts to us and anyone found to be flaunting this rule will be dealt with severely. I have removed sneaky individuals in the past who try to get more than 1 ‘guild main’ ranked. For your convenience, ‘Dambuster Alt’ has minimal guild bank access to save you from logging to your main for a single item in the bank, hope this helps 🙂
On Jankers Remember that this guild is named after the number 617 ‘Dambusters’ Squadron, Royal Air Force. It is with nostalgia that I use certain terms in the guild which refer to my old squadron and this rank name perfectly fits it’s intention. Hit this link to get the definition of the word. This rank will be used (hopefully sparingly) by officers to diffuse any situation in the guild chat which may be causing distress to another member. If you intend a message as a joke, let your message be clearly worded as such, joking is the foundation of this guild and swear words are acceptable as long as they are not directed in an abusive manner towards your fellow Dambuster. Be warned however, that a ‘listening’ Warrant Officer may take your words as a hostile act and throw you ‘On Jankers’ in my stead. Let the guild chat know you are good friends with the intended recipient of such jokes if you do not want to run the risk of ‘The Police’ acting in the ‘victim’s defence’.
