Hey Dambusters, just a quick note of advice before you log into the patched game today. As with all patch days, there might be some upheaval with any add ons you are using, most of the more common add ons should be updated already but since the patch is only 4 weeks in length, many add-on developers could decide the small amount of time is not worth their fullest efforts. So to prevent any headaches, it is advisable to open your WoW folder and find the ‘Interface’ and ‘WTF’ folders. Copy these folders and paste them onto your desktop as a backup incase something goes horribly wrong after you update all the add ons on Curse.
There will most likely be the usual disclaimer to accept before logging onto the server page with the patch. Remember to click the ‘Addons’ button at the bottom of your character select screen and ensure you re-tick ‘Load out of date add ons’ as it will default to un-ticked.
