June’s Guild Meeting

Another very productive guild meeting was held on Sunday where I took the opportunity to generally talk at the Dambusters lol.

We spent over an hour discussing different subjects focusing on the officer positions filled and also positions that remain vacant.

Spyrot had plenty to talk about regarding his raid team, the requirements to raid normal mode Throne of Thunder with the team and the newly implemented EPGP loot system. I went over numerous points including the definition of ‘commitment’ regarding the team which includes showing up prepared highlighting the word prepared specifically. Being prepared includes having worked hard to gain knowledge and experience of your class that should not be taken for granted.

I reiterated the guild’s sentiment that although we have a core raid team, the guild remains loyal to the social/levelling concept in that however the raiders perform of fail, your standing in the guild itself remains untouched. Raid team drama will not affect overall guild stability in the Dambusters.

We discussed the appointments of Devilslotus asassistant raid leader and recruiting assist, while Feralbust has taken on the role of assistant recruiter also, both guys answering to Debbs and Devilslotus generally getting a kicked butt from Spyrot too 🙂

We talked about the upcoming 4th Birthday event which is scheduled for 26th July and looks to be an exciting day where prizes will be won!

In addition, we reaffirmed the desperate need to ensure old raid night goes off every week to ensure a get together for more guild members at least on 1 day per week.

The rated battleground team is now coming together with acting leadership headed by Sonicay while assisted by Aedh and Dunddra. Any interested members must contact these guys immediately.

A fine discussion providing much needed top level communication which I hope will filter information down to most guild members. I hope to see you all again on mumble for our next guild meeting on14th July!
