Class Leaders

Having a specialist in a particular class is a great way to teach people who want to learn to play a particular class for their own benefit aswell as that of the guild.

The guild needs class leaders. If you consider yourself to be a fine example of your chosen class then please come forward. It is possible more than one person will apply for your role but please apply if you believe you have the knowledge and let me make the decision of who becomes the authority on all things related to your class.

This position requires experience and understanding aswell as willingness to offer friendly and helpful advice. If you get a class lead position and feel you would benefit from the assistance of a friend then by all means, make it so. This might help if you are not 100% on one of the specs, I will expect you to still be able to cover advice rendered from your junior guildies in need.

Class leaders will also help to determine who is doing well among others of the same class in the guild, maybe for recommendations to the Raid Leader or Rated Battleground Leader. Your advice may also be requested when recruiting specific players for these teams in the future.

Your name will be mentioned around the guild’s online spaces to advertise who people need to contact if in need of advice.

Remember we are a social levelling guild, new players look up to the more experienced Dambusters as figureheads of our community. Take hold of a leading role and do us proud!

Excellent post Kuja, that level of detail and thought directed towards helping budding rogues out there in our guild roster is exactly what I am hoping for. Having raided with you and witnessed your determination to succeed in the guild, you are clearly highly qualified in my opinion to be a class leader right now and hopefully you will soon be ready for an officer position.

Anyone reading these comments should take note of Kuja’s commitment and willingness to help others with solid knowledge. These are exactly the attributes I look for in people who the guild needs to fill leadership roles.

I would like to apply for the Rogue class leader, I have had a long time playing various characters from the opening of BWL when it had placeholder gear before the T2 models.

I previously played a raid healing priest before I switched to Rogue leveling it up to 60, raiding in Molten core,Black wing lair, and Temple of AQ all the way into Burning crusade pushing into Karazhan, Serpent shrine cavern and Tempest Keep. This trend continued all the way up to Cataclysm before I made my break.

I have been a avid pvper from the level 60 days, And learnt how to play my class through that system of Pre made group and world pvp combined with raiding.

The Requirements for raiding now have climbed so high with the introduction of so many stats since I have been playing, Today the stat requirements are:

    Agility
    Mastery
Hit cap of 7.5% (for raiding this is essential)
Expertise cap of 7.5% (essential for raiding and if you need to be infront of the boss)
    Haste
    Crit

The enchants should be balance around Agility and Hit and Haste depending on what your characters needs are. Weapon enchants follows as Dancing steel for top end enchant,

A good primary profession is required to maximize the stats on your rogue, for example having jewlcrafting or enchanting for bonus agility.

Weapons for combat are preferred to be a Slow Main hand and offhand but a Slow mainhand and fast Offhand will suffice. You should be using the most highest DPS weapons in the slots for example the dagger of seven stars will take priority on offhand over any HC slow weapon.

Combat so far is one of the best specs for PVE for Multi Mob DPS
And although combat can pull some pretty good Single target DPS Mutilate should pull the advantage.

The rotations for rogues include Keeping up slice and dice priority and combining Rupture into your boss rotation with Eviscerate and or Envenom. blowing Cooldowns whenever they are available for combat you will have a additional move when helps generate combo points that should also be kept on your main target.

    cheers

    kuja
