• Recruitment Focus

I have started considering a slight adjustment to the guild’s recruitment techniques. Our recruitment efforts have been very fruitful in pulling in plenty of new people from around the server and also from other servers as they have noticed what we are trying to do here is valuable to a player who cares about what type of guild they are involved with.

The recruitment staff are tasked with bringing the right types of people to the guild while ensuring that they know what to expect on arrival. When we launched our recruitment drive on our arrival in Ragnaros, I advocated a /tradespam approach coupled with regular official forum posts and plenty social interaction with the community on the server in our more traditional, hands-on approach.

Tradechat spamming was always a rough tool that provided a quick fix to address our drop in active members to ensure people joining were entering an active /gchat and not some backwater guild where nobody logs in.

Blizzard forum posts allow us to be noticed 24/7 by people who care enough about the game to actually trawl the forums. The acquisitions from the forum are generally people who we will be delighted to accept since the hard working attitude of actually actively seeking the right community is something I regard highly and is also a diminishing example among the game’s changing player base.

Hands-on social interaction is by far and away my favourite style of recruitment. Meeting someone out in the world and getting to have a chat about whatever is going on, making friends and then posing the question along the lines of guilds and how you would like to see your new friend join you and become a Dambuster. That’s the way I started this guild and its how I built it full of good people who were socially interactive and mannerly around their guild mates and others on the server.

Our chief recruiter Debbs is excellent at this type of recruiting and it’s a skill worth promoting. In the next few days I will be curtailing all /tradechat macro recruitment posts and encouraging more social interaction around the server whilst leaving Debbs to do his part on the Blizzard forum as usual.

Trade chat recruiting is crude and only serves a short term purpose, we are bigger and better than that. The raid team will still be pugging players on the public channels but since we now require applications and are getting quality applicants, I no longer see the need to tell the server’s underworld that just anyone can get into our community by filling out an application which they may see on /tradechat.

I am fully aware that this change will make the recruiters’ jobs more difficult but to be fair, making up a spammable macro and hitting a button each time you are in a city ain’t exactly difficult, so you guys will have to do a bit more. To offset that, I am looking into adding another assistant to join the recently promoted Feralbust. Recruitment boss Debbs and I will be in discussion about who to approach for that position.

Remember that this is not an easy task and that these guys need all our help! Social interaction is something we are known for as a guild so feel free to help your guild. Be an ambassador of friendly social interaction and send any interested potential recruits to the recruitment staff or the guild website application form.

  • Guild Admin Update

The guild’s structure is of utmost importance. As stated on many occasions within this blog, the well maintained guild we have here provides us with the stability that people need to be able to enjoy playing the game and spend time with guild mates with the peace of mind that the guild will remain in perpetual state.

The good foundation is a product of hard work, love and devotion by the officers of the guild and as such, my job is to ensure that we have the right officers doing their jobs well. Recently we have been losing officers in important positions in addition to potential roles which remain simply un-filled.

In the coming period, I will be looking to strengthen the leadership core to ensure a good distribution of the required tasks. If you feel you deserve or would like to be considered for an officer position either for a specific role or as an assistant, please do not hesitate to make contact with me. You could use the new ‘Ask Bigticket’ form which is linked on the website homepage or just speak to me in-game.

Those people who have taken on tasks recently are at an important crossroads in their guild advancement. They have the choice to grab the opportunity to carry out the job well, with hard work and devotion or let it slip to the stage that someone else has the chance to usurp the job. Remember that if the role being carried out is viewed as important to the guild then I will already be considering you for an officer position so feel free to ask any questions you may have and try to perform to the best of your abilities.

There might be a few surprised people who may get the call from your GM to fill an important position.

I would like to remind the Dambusters that our Townhall Meeting will be on Sunday the 9th June at 6pm server time (just before raid team assemble) where we will be discussing multiple aspects relating to the guild, the leadership, raid team, 4th birthday events and many other important factors. The meeting will be held on mumble as usual and all members are welcome to attend. Bring your questions, concerns and curiosity and join in or chill and listen. These meetings are important to garner ideas and thoughts from the guild before we can plan things in advance.

The guild website has been a big hit for the guild where people generally read this blog, keep up to date on officer changes, read the guild rules, ranking system and scope the gallery for pics of the things we’ve been getting up to together. The site has steadily grown and will continue to grow as our stock rises around the server and the wow community in general. Remember that this guild has already been mentioned by the WoW Insider Drama Mamas as a recommended levelling guild in the past and my plan is to start networking with other warcraft related webmasters around the community in an attempt to gain more influence, interest and ultimately more hits on our site.

We are currently hitting just under 10,000 unique pageviews per month which has been rising by around 20% per month on average since we launched so I would imagine we will continue to increase in popularity as time progresses and you guys should be very proud of this statistic. Far from stagnating, your guild has gone from strength to strength especially since our server change to Ragnaros. This popularity has seen us receive applications from around the server and even from people on OTHER SERVERS who have actually paid to transfer to join us on their main characters.

As I hoped, the website and officers we have in place have been instrumental in pulling the right type of people towards our community and that is a fantastic achievement.

Remember, old school raid run tonight. If you don’t have mumble then head over to our ‘Resources Portal’ and follow the instructions there to get online within 5 minutes and we will see you there!

  • Raid Team Flexibility

I would like to encourage members of the raid team to try to level up and gear up at least 1 alt character so that during times when the team needs a different composition, we can have the flexibility to meet our challenges more effectively.

    Currently we are awaiting:-

    • Meatblocker  –  Devilslotus’ prot warrior
    • Kungfao  –  Spyrot’s mistweaver monk
    • Feralburst  –  Prozackk’s resto druid
    • Andruimeda  –  Pocadøts’ resto druid

All these people have main characters in the team and the current closest to tier 15 progress is probably Andruimeda who has healed in Heart of Fear with us but she already has Pocahunter and Pocadøts ready and available to challenge at the top of the damage meters.

It’s easy for me to push for people to have alts who are raid capable when I have Caledønia (prot/holy pala) and Bunnyboiler (holy/disc priest) but I only have those characters due to hard work and devotion to the raid team.  In fact, before the end of Cataclysm, I discussed with Spyrot about which of my 8 lvl 85 (then) characters I could use in Mists of Pandaria raids before opting for Interdictor (my DK) only to find out we had Manacle returning and so I changed to Bunnyboiler who I love to heal on but would never have previously considered to be my main.  Sacrificing Bigticket because Pocahunter and Spyrot were both levelling to raid was a hard decision I had to make but I had no choice since 3 BM hunters don’t go well into a 10 man progression raid team.  I had multiple characters so I at least had a choice to make in that regard.

Due to the commitment of that team, this guild had a team ready and inside Mogu’shan Vaults on the very day it opened and although that night was a wipefest, I was very proud that we proved so determined to get a team of level 90s in that first week.

Bigticket will always be my favourite character and I also have ‘Snøøzz’ (rogue) and ‘Pished’ (rest/ele shaman) who could all be geared up quickly if needed by the team.  Right now I use them mainly for a bit of pvp fun but I also have Crambo (prot warrior) Combatlog (resto druid) and Interdictor (blood DK) all at 85/86 who will be levelled up shortly due to the 33% xp nerf to level 85-90.

I hope that the characters listed above will use the next couple of weeks to seek out boosts from the main team and blast through tier 14 content to gear up.  Gearing up a toon at this stage is easier than ever, just needs a little commitment but I also want to stress that it’s a good idea to maintain your main character so you don’t fall behind.

The team, with a couple of pugged in friends, kicked horridon’s ass last night in pretty sweet fashion and although it was a 7/10 guild team meaning the guild didn’t get the credit for the kill, I was particularly delighted with the group overcoming such a wall in recent weeks.  A lot of teams got stuck behind Horridon and it seems we are well capable now of blowing that up and moving through the raid more steadily.

I will be speaking with Spyrot about the raid team roster as it has been growing recently but we still need 1 solid tank and 1 solid healer to really bolster our team.  We have guys in the fringes of the team and I really hope they step up to the plate and force their way into the team from within the guild.  Lets see how these guys get on with gearing the all-important alt characters.

    /Salute

  • Slow and Steady

Our guild might not have the greatest raiding team around. We might accept new players warmly into our community just as we accept experienced campaigners who fancy joining us. We often see questions in the guild chat about things the pro players would find silly. We might struggle to keep the more hardcore minded guys from leaving to join a more dedicated, specialised pvp or raiding guild.

There’s something we do have tho, something a lot of the more serious guilds miss. We have the same ideology, the same foundations and the same spirit we always had. We have the structure here to be great and we do things the right way!

The Dambusters ain’t looking for a quick fix, we don’t want the egos of the raiding scene on our doorstep. What we want are good people who share our values to join us, and the legends who are already here to remain. The guild’s policies will ensure that our rise will be slow and steady to ensure any success we forge together will be a stepping stone to more success.

People see our raiding credentials and notice that our guild is one of the lowest raid teams on the server, but we just lost our 2 main tanks and did that break the guild up? No chance!
We have swapped and changed so many healers it’s unreal but we are still here, ready to progress Horridon again with new tanks, healers and the usual (improving all the time) DPS squad! We will be there no matter what because we care about this guild and want to do well in the name of the Dambusters!

All it will take is for just a couple of quality players with a similar type of mentality as ours to notice us and get involved and our little raid team will fly!

Some raid teams are formed so fast and blow up content so quickly then implode amongst a mega drama bomb leaving players feeling depressed about the game and people in general. Some great guilds just got lucky and managed to recruit the perfect people to get content down nicely. The Dambusters have some excellent folks who just need a tiny bit more luck and because of our rock solid foundations and steadfast leadership, the guild will never collapse.

Let people judge us on our raid progress coz they miss the point. We don’t want people who think the only gauge of a good guild is progress but we need people who have the vision to spot potential. That is where we are, potentially a great guild who already have a fantastic community.

Slow and steady guild operations will keep us rising in the right direction. Are you with me?

  • Rated Battleground Night!

The guild is still searching for someone from within our ranks to start a Rated Battleground Team.

Failing internal volunteers for the position of RBG Team Leader, I will be forced to look outside the guild to bring someone in who will be tasked with carving out a regular team to take on the horde scum and push for guild and personal achievements.

Whether any lead candidate comes from inside or outwith the guild, our ethos as a guild will remain intact. Any Dambusters team will be expected to act favourably towards other guild members and our Alliance friends around the server as always.

Here’s the fun part however. A RBG team can get together for other activities such as destroying every horde in sight at the Isle of Thunder, kicking off wars with them red folks on the other side! You could stake claim during agreed times that you are all online to hold a specific area of the island and kill anyone who comes within 100 yards! These types of activities are great for a guild, killing things together as a group, laying waste with the attitude of red = dead wherever you go. Getting ganked? Call your guildies to come to the rescue, if you play in a pvp team then you are likely to wanna get your buddies’ backs when they need your help.

Anyone looking to kick-start such activities will have my full backing as long as you commit to it.

Pick a night – not a Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday or Sunday as these are the guild’s main and old school raid nights. Any one of Friday, Monday or Tuesday should see attendance from myself as long as it’s not too late although if it’s too late for me but you can get a regular team going, I would rather that.

As with any organised group activity in the guild, solid and committed leadership will result in an officer position befitting what you have proven capable of achieving. I just need someone to pull that group together and grab the bull by the horns to actually do it!

    /Salute

  • Old Raid Night Back With A Bang

Since it’s previous demise at the tail end of our Xavius era, ‘Old Raid Night’ has been a sore miss. It is fantastic to see such a great chance for the general Dambusters membership to get together and have some fun as a guild again like we did last night!

Hellclaw did the setting up with a little help from his friends and the Old Raid group was reborn. There is an argument to suggest that it ain’t difficult to pop something up on the calendar and spam some invites as the time draws near to raid start but the thing is, it’s not been getting done lately and that has abruptly changed with only a little bit of commitment and determination anyone could have had. Anyone didn’t tho, it was Hellclaw who did!

We had a guild general meeting last week and the subject of the Old Raid Night was brought up as a priority with the possibility of promotion for the person who would grab the bull by the horns and really get this thing going again. I really hope this fun night will happen every week without fail and become a mainstay in people’s schedules.

I will try to always be there even when I don’t necessarily need the achievements etc because it’s a great time to get to know people around the guild. There’s a lot of comedy to be had, talk of what’s happening around the guild etc while doing stuff as a team. Mumble is important to the guild community since it lets people hear the voices associated with certain character names you see each day. This gives us a feeling of closeness that we should cherish as a guild. Next time you see the name, you can imagine their voice and really see them as a person instead of just another character in a game.

If you intend to raid more challenging content or do battlegrounds together then having attended Old Raid Night will ensure you already have Mumble up and running so logging back in is as simple as 2 clicks, that is a great help for the raid team as we try to pull people into raiding.

The good feeling that comes from blowing up this content together is really easy to undervalue but as your guild leader, I am in no doubt as to it’s importance! Believe it when I say that the benefits of having that kind of evening together really brings a guild together so I would ask all Dambusters who are online and at level for the specified raid for the week to please try to attend and enjoy the experience. It’s a time when you can ask questions directed at myself, Spyrot or Debbs about the guild, raiding or recruitment. You get to poke fun at your GM like usually happens so don’t pass up that chance 😀

As I mentioned earlier, the idea of revisiting this activity was mentioned as a priority in last week’s guild meeting which I feel was a big hit and since it seems to have had a profound effect, we will be meeting more regularly. Check your calendar and try to make space in your irl schedule for Sunday 9th June at 6pm server time (just before main raid team get together) for our next Townhall Meeting. Bring questions, ideas, curiosity and listening skills to help the guild forge ahead with more good stuff!

Before that tho, remember every Saturday at 6pm will become Old Raid Night. Hope to see you there!

  • Dambusters General Townhall Meeting

The guild conducted a semi-formal guild meeting on our mumble server last night (Sunday 12th May) and I felt it was very productive.

Many points were raised around subjects including potential officer positions, raid team troubles and possible solutions, the guild’s 4th birthday celebration and the upcoming possibility of a guild meet-up in Gothenburg, Sweden.

The attendance was very pleasing given the very short notice I provided on this occasion and I would like to take this opportunity to encourage all Dambusters members to try and attend our next and all future meetings which we will schedule for the 2nd Sunday of each month henceforth.  The attendees from last night, in no particular order, were:-

    Bigticket
    Bluesamurai
    Debbs
    Galamon
    Hellclaw
    Biggooliess
    Devilslotus
    Maryhinge
    Prozackk
    Tinytim
    Spyrot
    Xev

    Officer Jobs

From the meeting more specifically, I offered people the chance to try to think of jobs they feel the guild needs doing which should become officer roles while putting forward examples such as:-

    • RBG Team Leader
    • Guild PR Officer (Specifically Facebook co-ordinator, Twitter Spokesperson, Forum Spark)
    • Old Raid Night Leader

I stressed a particular need for the old raid night to be pushed as a priority for the guild as it really does provide and encourage excellent camaraderie in togetherness as a guild, doing stuff while also providing the benefit of getting more people onto Mumble, chatting together and having some fun with the guildies.  This is an event that is sorely missed by many who used to love doing this stuff together and will no doubt forge a positive experience and attitude of self-confidence within the guild community.  Hellclaw and Devilslotus offered their services on potential Old Raid Night formation and leadership possibly beginning this coming Saturday early evening so keep an eye on the calendar and lets hope that gets going.  If these guys don’t manage to get this going then I am open for volunteers for this in-demand weekly event.  Proven commitment and dedication in this position will be rewarded with an officer position within the guild.

In addition, the Dambusters community present at the meeting expressed a requirement and subsequent willingness to create a specified ‘Scenario Night’ in which to spam guild run scenarios to provide the guild with a much needed funds boost.  I say ‘much needed’ because, as Spyrot pointed out, my intention is to use half of the guild’s current bank balance as prize money for the upcoming birthday event and anything more the guild can generate between now and then will go straight towards that prize fund.

There are currently no volunteers for RBG team leader although Brewpaw has stressed his intention to create a team as soon as he reaches level 90 which won’t be long at this rate.  PR Officer is also open for volunteers until now so if either of these positions OR ANY other jobs you feel need doing around the guild, please do not hesitate to contact me directly at Bigticket@dambusters.eu and we can discuss your thoughts.  The best potential officers are the people who are already doing the job we require without the position of officer, anyone found going beyond the call of normal guild duty and providing the guild with something we feel to be important to our maintenance will be rewarded in time with further dedication.

    Raid Team

Continuing the meeting, I broached the subject of raiding and stressed that although we are not primarily a raiding guild as everyone knows, there is a strong contingent within the guild who do enjoy progression raiding.  Our particular failings were discussed and the specific points which took our focus were:-

    • Recruitment
    • Helping the Raid Leader (Spyrot)
    • Getting to know your class and the fights
    • Attendance and punctuality

The guild’s core raid team is desperate for more healers and tanks since we fail to achieve the same group every raid night in attendance.  It is the primary responsibility of Debbs who is the guild’s recruitment officer and his assistant illiya.  In addition, myself and Spyrot have a duty to the guild to recruit as we can but I would like to stress that recruitment in general is everyone’s responsibility within the guild but more specifically for the raid team, the raiders should all be making friends and being socially friendly around the server with a primary goal of acting as ambassadors for the Dambusters wherever you go.  The guild members in general should also remember that, as I quote directly from the GUILD RULES below, you are ALL ambassadors for this great guild and you are expected to act with compassion, helpfulness and with pleasant humour wherever possible in your dealings with the server population so as to propagate a good feeling towards the guild which is still trying to gain a firm foothold on Ragnaros.

“BE RESPECTFUL OF OTHERS!  –  I don’t want to hear of people belittling others in the guild or even the rest of the server community.  The guild has a proud heritage and comes from a previous server where our behaviour was considered a good advert for the guild. You don’t have to get along with everyone, but you do have to keep in mind that you are an ambassador for your guild, you will command respect in the guild if you lead by this example, equally you will find pressure on yourself if you do not”

Remember that as people express a desire to join the guild, we MUST direct them to the guild’s website (preferably with an actual link) and politely request that they fill out the application form which will keep our recruitment team firmly ‘in-the-loop’ regards membership information, however alternate characters need only request an officer for their invite without need to apply of course.

It is very apparent that Spyrot is trying his best with a busy real life schedule and is being constantly let down by poor attendance in certain quarters. In addition, people who turn up are often un-prepared with poor knowledge of what is expected of them in too many cases.  I’m not naming names because I am also a culprit and this is not an attempt to blame anyone since failure is a team-wide problem, we kill and are killed as a unit!  We all however, must look at ourselves and see what we can do to really learn our class and the fight we need to complete.

Consider asking yourself questions such as:-

    1. Am I online enough to be 100% effective in my role?
    2. Do I really know my class inside and out? Are there abilities I am not using that top players likely use in certain raiding encounters/situations that I can learn to use better?
    3. Do I know the abilities the boss encounter will use against not only myself, but the other people in different roles in the team?
    4. Have I at the very least studied the encounter on a guide video?
    5. Do I always attend, logging on early and being ready for an invite the very second Spyrot calls to invite?
    6. Is there anything I can offer to possibly provide tactical aid to the Raid Leader (in private) before, during or even after a raid is complete?
    7. Do I find myself FUDGING THE METER in favour of getting higher numbers at the cost of my survivability?  Shame on you! “A dead DPSer does zero Damage!”

    4th Birthday Events

The guild turns 4 year old on the 26th July and as a celebration, we will create events to be agreed as we come closer to the time. One thing for sure tho, the guild WILL hold a ‘Remembrance March’ right through Stowmwind City to commemorate the fallen Dambusters from our past, taken from us for whatever reason over our 4 years as a community.  This will be a celebration of people who have come and gone on to better things, different guilds, maybe left the game due to real life reasons or even due to passing away without our knowledge.  Having been custodian of the guild since it’s inception and witnessed many transition periods, I am sure that the vast majority of our former members will remember us for our friendly spirit and helpful ethos as we have evolved as a guild to the more focused community we have become while always holding true our aim to be a guild for everyone who has a good social attitude.

I expressed my intention to reduce the mega prize bonanza of last year but to maintain the top prize as a rare TCG mount and thousands upon thousands of gold to be distributed to the people of the guild who prove hard working with total activity meter supremacy while attending our guild events between now and then, meanwhile additional rewards will be accessible by people attending the actual birthday events including the ‘Remembrance March’ and other events yet to be decided.

If you would like to provide ideas for a possible event for Friday 26th July’s 4th birthday bash then please email me or contact me in-game and offer your suggestions, just be aware that I won’t always implement each and every idea but I will do my best to select the best events for the day.

    Gothenburg Meet-up

Maryhinge will be married on August 31st to his lovely bride in Göteborg.  Poca, Bluesamurai and I will also be there and we will take the opportunity to encourage a guild meet-up since we are aware that a fair number of our guild live within decent access of the area, I would like to extend a welcome to anyone who would like to come and meet up with us maniacs for some food and beverages.  I think a meet-up is long overdue and would be a great chance for us to get to see who lives behind the characters we all know in the game.  More details on this will come as we get closer,  specifically after our birthday event.  We have yet to decide on exact dates and who will be there but anyone who feels they might be able to make an appearance is welcome to get in touch with me.

The next Dambusters Guild meeting will be held Sunday 9th of June on our usual Mumble server channel.  All Dambusters are welcome to come along with thoughts, ideas and any questions you may have for your guild leadership team.

    /Salute!

  • Sitting Out and Raid Sinners

As we recruit, raid team slots will be filled. At the moment, the guild raid team members can usually breeze in and take their spot as long as they just turn up on time and accept the invite. We are continuing the recruitment drive looking specifically for healers and tanks but DPS beware…new DPS guys are welcome to join and try to push for a raid spot like everybody else.

Our problem has been having no choice but to accept bringing people who underperform or who let us down and this gives our raid leader Spyrot a real headache because we have been failing. Some folks even sign up on the calendar and fail to show. This is the worst offence a raider could ever commit and it’s just not on!

There have been mistakes from the leadership regarding the setting up of the raids but even more so by the people who just don’t bother their arses to turn up regularly or properly learn to play their class, get out of bad shit during an encounter etc and all this is gonna have to stop! Whether it’s up on the calendar or not, you know the raid times.

Tonight poor Spyrot had to call the raid leaving me with nothing to do on a Thursday night. I’m bloody raging! If people think they have a spot for Sunday or next week, guess again. There were the usual few who were around, waiting to raid but the layabouts let these committed guys down and I’m not happy about it. What’s to stop these guys leaving the guild to pursue a more committed raiding schedule? We have really got to get a grip.

Learn something about your class, watch the videos, get the addon ‘GTFO’ and damn well SHOW UP!!!

We have a team of people on the blizzard forums and in /tradechat hunting raiders to recruit. If you wanna be in there then take a moment to think about the other 9 team mates you let down when you don’t bother your arse to arrive in good time and well prepared.

The rest of the guild, keep up the fantastic work and show these ‘raiders’ how commitment looks!

I sense some butt-kicking on the horizon!

    /Salute

  • Dambusters’ 4th Birthday!

The Dambusters will celebrate our 4th birthday on July 26th and a big prize giveaway will happen that day as a thank you to all the members who make this guild a cool place to be!

On the day, which will be a Friday, there will be a 12 noon March through Stormwind! I expect chanting, boozing, flags, fireworks and party bombs etc during the walk and we will let Ragnaros know what we are all about.

There will be a mega prize for the top total activity ranked character (except Bigticket ofc) and additional prize qualification criteria to be defined nearer the time. It’s time to start chucking ideas around with your guildies and letting the officers know what you would like the guild to do together on that day.

Furthermore, I am finalising plans to hold a Guildhall Meeting on our Mumble server very soon. This will become a monthly affair with all members of the guild invited to listen and share your ideas with the officers and help forge good ideas together.

This guild started well on Ragnaros and is blossoming now with dedicated leadership showing the way.

    /Salute

  • New Recruits

The beauty of recruiting through the official Blizzard forum is that the people who find us there already access our front-end website and have the ability to understand what type of people we are in the Dambusters simply by flicking through the information on there.

We can be sure that having applied on the website, they are already well abreast of how the world of warcraft community operates and how to act in order to maximise the community spirit felt within a guild.

Everyone is different but starting off on the same page is a great help in order to forge ahead as a good guild. People who come into the guild as social members trying to make new friends, or who want to join in with our raid team or even a bit of both will already be aware of what kind of group we are because they have accessed the website where I write this blog, where guildies have their screenshots posted on the gallery, the (underused but totally available) forums, the officers page along with detailed information about the guild’s rank structure and of course, ‘the rules’.

Rules are a big benefit to any organised guild. Having rules in places gives a prospective applicant peace of mind that the guild leader has thought seriously about the behaviour of the members and has drawn up a reference point of regulations that people should abide by. Someone with good moral values should be checking a guild’s rules to ensure they (or their loved ones) are unlikely to be subject to unwanted attention in their potential new gaming home and this is exactly the type of new members we like to see joining the guild. Diligent, friendly and above all, good people!

We have had some very interesting new members join the guild recently and I expect everyone to welcome them aboard with the usual jokes and warm, friendly behaviour for which you are well known. There will undoubtedly be many more new members who will join this fantastic community and your warm welcome will leave them with a long lasting first impression.

A guild where people matter more than content progression, that’s the kind of guild I am proud to be part of!

/Salute to the new guys AND to the great people of the Dambusters who welcome you to the family with open arms!
